Getting started with your purchased Ginny product

Find protected instructions, choose the correct installation method, and avoid duplicate workspaces or editions.

Start in your protected customer library

Sign in to Ginny Circle using the account associated with your purchase. Open My Ginny Circle for available product materials, then First-Time Setup for setup guidance. This Academy page explains how to approach setup; it does not contain installation files or grant product access.

Confirm the product name, whether it is a base product or an expansion, and the specific instructions delivered with it. If something appears missing, do not substitute a different install file or purchase again as a workaround.

  • Use the account used for purchase.
  • Identify the exact product and available materials.
  • Read the complete product-specific instructions before starting.
  • Check required platform features and employer permissions.
  • Keep the original delivered file intact.

Installation is not universally one paste

Developer Command Center and Developer Expansion use product-specific upload instructions: choose one edition and upload the required file rather than pasting it as a generic chat prompt. Follow the protected instructions for where and how to use the file.

Portfolio Expansion is a compact add-on for an existing Developer Project, not a full replacement Portfolio installation. Its public guidance is to paste the compact add-on once into the original Developer Project, following the delivered instructions. Preserve the existing environment; do not create a second Project by default.

Community/HOA, Property Management and Service Provider products can have different installer and expansion paths. Read the instructions for the exact purchase, including any bundle guidance. Service Provider is one complete system, not individually installed or sold trackers. Do not infer the process from another family's tutorial.

Choose the edition your instructions support

Where Manual and Connected editions are provided, choose one as directed. Do not load both to ‘get everything.’ Connected mode requires supported, authorized tools and appropriate account permissions; it is not automatic access to other services.

If the instructions do not match the capabilities in your current account, stop and resolve that mismatch before installing. This Academy does not guarantee platform compatibility or that changing editions preserves every detail.

Validate before using real work

Follow the product's own verification and initial Work Session guidance. Use permitted, low-risk information while checking that you are in the intended Project and using the correct product/edition. Keep existing records until you have verified the intended result.

If setup fails, preserve the error and the last known state, then consult the protected guidance or existing Ginny Circle contact page. Never share an installer, customer records or credentials in a public troubleshooting post.

Try it thoughtfully

Before installing, write down the product, edition, upload-or-paste method, and whether the instructions require a new or existing Project. If any answer is unclear, return to the product's instructions rather than guessing.
